Trucking along.

7. Watch all movies on AFI's top 100 (15/100) - in progress

Okay so I started watching "Bonnie and Clyde" on Saturday and I haven't finished it yet, but I plan on doing that right after I post. So far, so good. I think I'm a little more than halfway. Bonnie is kind of an annoying character thought. Can you tell I don't really critique movies often?

22. Compile the lyrics I've written somewhere, creatively - in progress

Here's the photo of the assignment I was talking about last week. You can't see the lyrics very well, but I figured I'd upload it to Flickr too.

42. Try 15 new restaurants (6/15) - in progress

I was at a friend's house on South Main Friday night, and we walked down to Little Italy for dinner, which was very delicious and very cheap. We got pizza, so no interesting news on that, but it was really pretty good... I'll choose that over Dominos for delivery.

56. Exercise 2-3 times a week (3/143)  - in progress

This was an active week - the gym three times and walking home up Port once. It was the first weekend in a while I had been home and not super busy, so I went to UREC on Saturday. It was very empty, but that meant easy registration for my favorite class: Step & Sculpt. Yes, sometimes I am a huge nerd.

68. Donate blood once a year (1/3) - in progress

I did it! On Wednesday, to be exact. Donating blood is very big deal for me, because I am typically either underweight or don't have enough iron. In fact, the first time I donated, the woman took a sample of my blood and dropped it into a pill-sized bottle filled with some chemical. If my blood had enough iron, it would sink and I could donate. It did not sink, and so she shook it. That was the only time I donated other than Wednesday. But it was very successful. It took eleven minutes. Although apparently I have very small veins, so I was in pain for a few days afterward with the bruising.

74. Do my laundry in cold water three times (1/3) - in progress

I did this a few weeks ago, and I didn't notice a difference at all. I suppose there could be all sorts of microscopic germs still on my clothes... but if there is, I don't know it. So I suppose that's good.

-Till next time
